Located in Lac Brome, in the Eastern Townships, on the banks of the Yamaska River, L'Auberge Yoga Salamandre offers year-round accommodation in nature for solo or group travelers.
Two options are offered:
1. The possibility of renting a room and taking advantage of the common areas according to the same principle as a youth hostel.
2. The option of renting the whole hostel to enjoy the place in an exclusive way.
How it works
The hostel was designed to offer a place for anyone who wants to have a good time in a beautiful environment conducive to introspection and inspiration. Alone or in a group, students or teleworkers, travelers or souls simply wishing to rest, all are welcome.
Services:
Lodging in private room, rustic cottage overlooking the river, cabin in the forest as a room in nature (wooden cabin heated and lit), platforms along the river and boutique on site.
Our cozy house includes one dormitory with eight beds, four private rooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen, a wood-burning fireplace, and a four-season veranda.
Coworking space and shared relaxation areas ⇾ Ideal for working, studying, practicing yoga, or simply relaxing with a good book while nestled in our comfortable hammocks.
Yoga ⇾ See here the yoga classes offered. (French classes only) The beautiful large room as well as all the yoga equipment are at your disposal for your personal yoga practice.

The entrepreneurial spirit
My passion for business developed while I was still a child. The desire to feed my creative side, to start a project was and still is a source of inspiration for me. I have never been afraid to go for it, and it was my determination that allowed me to own my own business at the age of 25. My training in administration has equipped me well, but it is especially my passion and my sense of responsibility that have allowed me to bring my project to life.
Travelling
Passionate about travelling abroad, I travel mainly to satisfy my insatiable curiosity, but also to visit youth hostels around the world and to write down my experiences in order to share them. The atmosphere, the activities offered on site, but especially the beautiful encounters are the elements that make hostels such rich places.
After a series of wonderful journeys inside and outside, I felt the call to create. The creation of a place where everyone would be free to be. A place of sharing, of pleasure, of love with a capital A, of experiences and connections with all living beings. Combining so many elements to achieve these goals seemed utopian until I discovered the sale of the Salamander Yoga Center. In addition to realizing a dream, this acquisition allowed me to be fully aligned with my life path.
My life goal? To feel like I'm on a journey every day of my life.
Yoga
My spiritual awakening started when I became aware of my anxiety disorder and I had no other choice than to find solutions to get better. I decided to enroll in all kinds of spiritual retreats and introduced mediation and yoga into my life routine. Yoga is now a big part of my daily life, and the desire to teach it has manifested itself. I completed my yoga teacher training in the summer of 2021. Combining my dream of a hostel with my passion for yoga is now a reality and I am so grateful that life has aligned everything in my path to make it happen.
